On September 22 Yamasaki High School held its sports day. Due to the Corona Virus an emergency declaration was in place for Hyogo Prefecture, so the sport’s day was shortened to half a day.

However despite the shortened program, the students were still able to enjoy many fun and wonderful events, including men’s and women’s individual and relay running, as well as team jump rope competitions. 

The jump rope competition was very impressive. Each team was made up of all the members of each class, and each class did a single-rope speed relay competition. The time limit was five minutes and consisted of two attempts.

In the overall score, which averaged the first and second attempts, class 3-6 came first, achieving over 380 jumps!

Class 1-1 came second, and class 1-3 came third. All the classes achieved over 300 jumps and did magnificently.

As well as the sports competitions, the members of each class created a unique flag to represent their class. The class that won with the most spectacular flag was 3-3.

The sports day was an exciting and exhilarating time that displayed the wonderful spirit of ambition and comradery that Yamasaki High School students possess.

　第72回日本学校農業クラブ全国大会　令和３年度　兵庫大会まであと２日となりました。

300日前から始めたカウントダウンボードの数字も「２」となり、いよいよ始まる期待でワクワクしています。

　本校は篠山東雲高等学校と協力して、式典会場で展示を行う「兵庫の農業展」を担当しています。農業展をご覧になってくださった選手の方にプレゼントする記念品「スギ材で作ったブックマーカー」を先日、森林環境科学科３年生と２年生、森と食科１年生全員で愛情を込めて製作しました。来場される方全員の分はありませんが、ぜひ農業展に足を運んでいただければと思います。

　明日から会場での準備が始まります。選手の皆さん頑張ってくださいね。

農業展でのフォトスポットも製作しました「ようこそ！HYOGOへ」

　森林環境科学科２年生が11月8日から５日間の就業体験（インターンシップ）を行います。

それに向けて、ご協力いただける事業所に各生徒が電話連絡をして、打合せに行きました。その際にお世話になる御礼として、自分たちが製作したマスクケースを持参しました。一生懸命作りましたので、使っていただければ幸いです。

　ご協力をしてくださる事業所の皆様、11月8日から5日間よろしくお願いいたします。

　森と食科１年生が6月に畑に蒔いた黒豆（丹波黒）の収穫期がやってきました

収穫した枝から、大きく膨れたさやをはずし、その場で茹でて枝豆として食味を行いました。

やはりとれたては最高!!食べ始めたら止まりません

　今回は枝豆として食味しましたが、来年度は、大豆として実が成熟するまで待って、調理やスイーツなどの食品加工に挑戦したいと思います。

　森林環境科学科３年生Bコース（林産加工選択）が４月から製作してきたスツール（背もたれのないイス）が遂に完成しました。釘や金具をいっさい使用せずに切削・組立てを行い、サンドペーパーで愛情を込めて磨き上げました。

特別非常勤講師の冨島先生から塗装の方法を教わり、天然素材のオイルを塗って完成です
