Seattle Diary

Day 5  25th July

 In the morning, we had a English class.  Today, we decided the topic of the presentation.  Our topic is comparison of daily schedule between American and Japanese.  We will ask them, “Can you tell use your daily schedule?”  After the interview, we will make pie chart about it. 

We went to Bainbridge Island.  We learned the history there.  I though war is horrible.  I am also interested in American history.  We interviewed with some people in America, but they don’t know about Japanese culture much.  I wanted people to know more about Japanese culture.

 After the class, we went to Bainbridge Island.  I ate a vanilla ice cream.  It tastes so rich like a custard.  Before I ate dinner, I heard an important story from Perry.  The story is about Japanese American.  They were discriminated by the American government.  But people in Bainbridge Island didn’t discriminate against them.  Their bond was so strong that they could make Japanese American happy.  I learned about the Second World War.  I believe this kind of war must not break out again.
