8月5日～7日の3日間、国際人間科1年生がイングリッシュ・キャンプを行いました。

アスピア明石の会議室を数部屋お借りし、4人のALTと英語の活動やゲーム、クイズを楽しみました。

また、スピーチコンテストも行い、「自分を強くしてくれた体験」について英語でプレゼンを行いました。

この3日間で、英語力だけでなくクラスの絆も強くなったことと思います。

Day 13 — August 11

Akashi Nishi Senior High School (ANSHS) students arrived in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, in the morning.

They went on a sightseeing bus tour around the capital city. First, they visited the Petronas Twin Towers. Then, they enjoyed delicious Indian dishes at an Indian restaurant. Next, they visited the National Palace and Batu Caves. Some students climbed the many stairs at Batu Caves.

After that, they visited the National Monument, the National Mosque, Independence Square, and Central Market. Finally, they headed to Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Day 14 -- August 14
The Malaysia–Australia Language Study Tour group is to take flight MH052, departing Kuala Lumpur at 22:25. They are expected to arrive in Japan at 5:55 a.m. on August 12 and return to ANSHS by bus.

8月11日（火）― 13日目

明石西高等学校（ANSHS）の生徒たちは、午前中にマレーシアの首都クアラルンプールに到着しました。

その後、観光バスに乗って首都クアラルンプールの市内観光を行いました。最初にペトロナス・ツインタワーを訪れ、続いてインド料理店でおいしいインド料理を楽しみました。次に、国王宮殿とバトゥ洞窟を訪れました。バトゥ洞窟では、たくさんの階段を上った生徒もいました。

その後、国立記念碑、国立モスク、ムルデカ広場、セントラル・マーケットを訪れ、最後にクアラルンプール国際空港へ向かいました。

マレーシア・オーストラリア語学研修団は、22時25分発のMH052便でクアラルンプールを出発します。8月12日午前5時55分に日本に到着し、その後、バスで明石西高校へ戻る予定です。

Day 12 — August 10
Akashi Nishi Senior High School (ANSHS) students spent their last Sunday, Day 11 (August 9), with their host families.
On Monday, August 10, the ANSHS students visited Churchlands Senior High School (CSHS) for their final day at the school. In the morning, they went shopping at Innaloo Shopping Centre.

During Period 3, they participated in a Japanese lesson. Group 2 gave a presentation about “Life at ANSHS.” They also had the opportunity to communicate with CSHS students.

During Period 4, they joined a PE lesson taught by Mr Andy Chapman. They played volleyball together with CSHS students.

During Period 5, they joined Japanese lessons with Mr Reef Jennings and Ms Lee Ellis. They enjoyed communicating with each other in both English and Japanese.

After returning to their host families' homes, the students came back to CSHS with their host families at 6:00 p.m. for a farewell party.

At the party, Mr Takanori Sakagami, a representative student, gave a farewell speech to express his gratitude to their host families. Ms Miwa Hinokio, a mathematics teacher, also gave a speech expressing her sincere gratitude to everyone in the Churchlands community.

At 8:30 p.m., the students said goodbye to their host families and left by bus for the airport. They then took a midnight flight to Kuala Lumpur.

8月10日（月）― 12日目
明石西高等学校（ANSHS）の生徒たちは、11日目の8月9日（日）、ホストファミリーと一緒に最後の日曜日を過ごしました。
8月10日（月）、ANSHSの生徒たちは、Churchlands Senior High School（CSHS）での最後の登校日を迎えました。午前中は、Innaloo Shopping Centreへ買い物に出かけました。

3時間目には、日本語の授業に参加しました。グループ2は、「ANSHSでの学校生活」についてプレゼンテーションを行いました。また、CSHSの生徒たちと交流する機会もありました。

4時間目には、Andy Chapman先生が担当する体育の授業に参加しました。CSHSの生徒たちと一緒にバレーボールを楽しみました。

5時間目には、Reef Jennings先生とLee Ellis先生の日本語の授業に参加しました。生徒たちは、英語と日本語の両方を使って楽しく交流しました。

授業終了後、生徒たちは一度ホストファミリーの家に戻り、午後6時にホストファミリーと一緒に再び学校へ戻り、フェアウェルパーティーに参加しました。

パーティーでは、代表生徒の阪上貴則さんが、ホストファミリーへの感謝の気持ちを伝えるため、別れのスピーチを行いました。また、数学科の檜尾美和先生からも、Churchlandsの学校関係者や地域の皆様への心からの感謝を伝えるスピーチがありました。

午後8時30分、生徒たちはホストファミリーに別れを告げ、バスで空港へ向かいました。その後、深夜便でクアラルンプールへ向けて出発しました。

Day 10 — August 8
The students woke up in the morning and had breakfast at 7:15 a.m.

Activity 1 took place from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., Activity 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Activity 3 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Groups 1, 2 and 3 participated in two different activities: Rock Climbing and Vertical Challenges.

The students returned to Churchlands at 4:00 p.m., where they were picked up by their host families.

10日目 — 8月8日
生徒たちは朝起床し、7時15分に朝食をとりました。
アクティビティ1は午前9時から10時30分まで、アクティビティ2は午前11時から午後12時30分まで、アクティビティ3は午後1時30分から3時まで行われました。

グループ1、2、3は、「ロッククライミング」と「バーティカルチャレンジ」の2種類のアクティビティに参加しました。

生徒たちは午後4時にチャーチランズへ戻り、ホストファミリーのお迎えで帰宅しました。

Day 9 — August 7

The Akashi Nishi Senior High School (ANSHS) students and their host students from Churchlands Senior High School (CSHS) went on a trip to Fremantle and Woodman Point Recreation Camp.

In the morning, they travelled by bus to Fremantle and visited Fremantle Prison, where they took part in a guided prison tour.

In the afternoon, they had some free time to explore the town, have lunch, and do some shopping.

They then travelled by bus to Woodman Point Recreation Camp, arriving at 2:30 p.m. After being allocated their dormitories, they unpacked their luggage and played sports outdoors.

Next, they listened to Ms Ellis explain the camp schedule and activities.

After some free time, they went on a sunset beach walk. They walked to the beach and watched the sun set over the ocean. It was a very impressive sight.

The students then had dinner, after which Group 1 cleaned the dining room. In the evening, everyone enjoyed card games and a quiz night.

After showering, the lights were turned out, and everyone went to sleep.

9日目 — 8月7日

明石西高等学校（ANSHS）の生徒たちは、ホスト校であるチャーチランズ・シニア・ハイスクール（CSHS）の生徒たちと一緒に、フリーマントルとウッドマン・ポイント・レクリエーション・キャンプへ行きました。

午前中は、バスでフリーマントルへ行き、フリーマントル刑務所を見学しました。ガイド付きの刑務所ツアーに参加し、歴史ある施設について学びました。

午後は自由時間があり、町を散策したり、昼食を食べたり、買い物を楽しんだりしました。

その後、バスでウッドマン・ポイント・レクリエーション・キャンプへ向かい、午後2時30分に到着しました。到着後は宿泊する部屋の割り当てがあり、荷物を整理した後、外でスポーツを楽しみました。

続いて、エリス先生からキャンプ中のスケジュールや活動について説明を受けました。

その後、自由時間を過ごした後、夕日のビーチウォークに出かけました。海岸まで歩き、美しい夕日を眺めました。とても印象的な景色でした。

その後、夕食を食べ、グループ1が食堂の片付けを担当しました。夜はカードゲームやクイズ大会を楽しみました。

シャワーを済ませた後は消灯となり、みんな就寝しました。
