Message from the Principal,Taniguchi Masato
Thank you for visiting the homepage for the Hyogo Prefectural Mukonoso
Comprehensive High School. We appreciate your continued support and
understanding.
In April of 2003, Mukonoso High School and Mukonoso Industrial High
School were merged and Mukonoso Comprehensive High School was formed,
setting out on a new path. As such, last academic year we greeted the 20th
anniversary of this school's formation. When one thinks back upon those last 20
years a lot comes to mind. One such thing is the establishment of the Hanshin
Special Needs School in 2015. Ever since its establishment, a spirit of
coexistence and cooperation has been fostered between our two schools.
Another significant milestone was the new establishment of the Hanshin region's
first certified caregiver training course of study, this school's welfare course, in
2018. Through this course, the school endeavors to cultivate flourishing care
givers who will support Japan's future needs.
Through these things and many others, the school always strives to meet
the needs of society and the times and to engage in a unique program of stugt
and education.
This academic year, the school boasts of a cohort of 21 comprehensive
course classes and three welfare course classes, for a total of 24 classes, among
the largest in the prefecture.
On the comprehensive course, in the first year "Industrial Society and
Humanity" class, students attend lectures given by specialists and from those
with a variety of life experiences, engage in debate classes, partake in speech-
giving events, and more. Further, from second year onwards, students can select
and study from amongst over 150 classes, classes which will help them on their
way to achieve their desired post-graduation path. Having such a large selection
of elective classes is a unique point of pride for this school.
On the welfare course, students can gain their offcial caregivers
qualifications over a three year period of study. Alongside studying specialist
subjects, students come to learn the practical skills of caregiving through hands-
on training at care homes and instiutions in the local community.
Based on the attitude of the combined school philosophies of
autonomous independence, mutual respect, and continuous creativity, we are
aim to consistently challenge ourselves with a future facing educational program
that responds to the ongoing transformation of our society.
Through the combined efforts of the teaching staff, we endeavor to foster
students who are trailblazers for that future.
