第9回シアトル語学研修旅行　5日目

令和5年7月25日(火)

天候:曇りのち晴れ　最高気温　23度　最低気温　14度
本日も午前中は初級、中級、上級の3つのグループに分かれて、英語の授業が行われました。内容は昨日の復習と、自分の事を英語で説明するトレーニングや、インタビューの練習、英語の表現の起源、発音、リズム等について学びました。

午後からは、大学内から路線バスに乗り、15分ほど離れたグリーンレイクパーク(Green Lake Park)に向かいました。大きな湖でボートやカヌーに乗って楽しんだり、ランニングコースや、家族で楽しめる遊具があり、幅広い年齢層の人が楽しめる公園です。

午前中は雲り気味で少し肌寒かったですが、午後からは日差しも出てきて、とても気持ち良い気候の中で、各々が自由に時間を使いました。午前中の授業で、公園にいる人にインタビューをする課題が出ており、昨日に引き続き、インタビューに挑戦しました。

1年　女子

Today, we got in a boat and played with playgrand equipments in Green Late Park. The park is much larger than a park in Japan. I was surprised that there were a lot of people in the park even on a weekday. Also, in interviews, it was easy to talk thanks to a lot of people who were gentle. I want to talk with the local people in English from tomorrow too.

 今日は、グリーンレイクパークでボートに乗ったり、遊具で遊んだりしました。日本の公園よりもとても広かったです。平日なのに大人が多い事に驚きました。インタビューでは優しい人が多く話しやすかったです。明日からももっと英語で話したいです。

1年　女子

Today, I was able to experience nature for the first time since I came to Seattle and enjoy the Seattle-like atmosphere. Interviews to foreigners was so fun too. They were so friendly, so we had a good time. However, my English skills are not good enough, so I would like to study hard from now on.

今日はシアトルにきて初めて自然に触れて、シアトルらしい雰囲気を味わう事ができた気がします。外国人へのインタビューもとても楽しく、フレンドリーだったので、会話が少し弾みました。でもまだ英語力は未熟なのでこれからも勉強に励んでいきたいと思います。

Today, I did leisure activities such as boating and socialized with the local people at Green Lake Park. I was able to relax very much in the beautiful nature and clean air. The local people were friendly, kind, and I had a good time. The first half of this study tour has passed. I want to spend precious time with gratitude to a lot of people.

今日は、Green Lake Park でボートなどのレジャースポーツや地元の方々との交流をしました。すごく綺麗な自然と空気でとてもリラックスする事ができました。地元の方もフレンドリーで優しく、良い時間を過ごす事ができました。シアトル研修旅行も明日から後半に入ります。色んな方々への感謝の気持ち持ちながら、貴重な時間を過ごしていきたいです。
