School festival report 2021
On the 18th of November 2021, Yamasaki High School held their annual school festival. The school festival is a highlight of the annual events calendar, with marvelous activities, displays, and performances.
The day’s festivities began with an opening ceremony in the gymnasium, and then students were free to enjoy the festival.
The festival is a chance for the cultural clubs to exhibit their activities, with beautiful art works displayed by the art club. There were beautiful flowers displays presented by the flower arranging club. The E.S.S. club created an English quiz, and those who completed it won prizes.
In addition to the cultural clubs, homeroom classes set up a number of fun activities. There was fishing games and shooting games, as well as photo spots with beautiful decorations. During the day there were a number of excellent musical performances by the guitar club members on a stage set up in the school’s courtyard.
After the guitar club performed, six girls from Yamasaki High School, who had formal dance training took to the stage. These students had formed a dance group and had extensively practiced their dance routine. With amazing skill and precision, these girls performed their fantastic choreographed dances, with the flair and presence of professional dancers. In addition to the six professionally trained dancers performing, the third grade female Home Economics class students performed a delightful dance show that everyone cheered along to. The festival was a thrilling and enthralling day that everyone at Yamasaki High School thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to all the teachers and students who worked so hard to make such wonderful memories.
