1897 | Meiji Era 30 | Hyogo Prefectural Tatsuno Junior High School of General Education was established. |
1901 | Meiji Era 34 | The school was renamed Hyogo Prefectural Tatsuno Junior High School. |
1906 | Meiji Era 39 | Tatsuno Municipal Girls' School of Practical Arts was established. |
1912 | Meiji Era 45 | The school was renamed Ibo-gun Girls' High School of Practical Arts. |
1922 | Taisho Era 11 | The school was renamed Hyogo Prefectural Girls' High School. |
1948 | Showa Era 23 | Hyogo Prefectural Tatsuno Junior High School was renamed Hyogo Prefectural Tatsuno Minami Senior High School. Hyogo Prefectural Girls' High School was renamed Hyogo Prefectural Tatsuno Kita Senior High School. The two schools merged to become Tatsuno Senior High School. |
1986 | Showa Era 61 | The Science and Math Course was founded. |
1997 | Heisei Era 9 | The 100th-year anniversary of foundation was celebrated. |
2003 | Heisei Era 15 | The Science and Math Course was modified into the Natural Science Course. |
2008 | Heisei Era 20 | The 110th-year anniversary of foundation was celebrated. |
2013 | Heisei Era 25 | The school was designated as a Super Science High School (SSH) by the Japan Science & Technology Agency. |
2015 | Heisei Era 27 | The Natural Science Course was modified into the Integrated Science Course. The school established a sister school partnership with National Tainan Girls' Senior High School in Taiwan. |
2017 | Heisei Era 29 | The 120th-year anniversary of foundation was celebrated. The school established a comprehensive educational partnership with Tatsuno City. |
2019 | Reiwa Era 1 | The school established a sister school partnership with Roosevelt High School in Seattle, USA. |
