Aboshi Senior High School is a public high school, located in Himeji City, The school is located in Aboshi,which is in the west of Himeji city.

The Aboshi district has a lot of factories and companies. Aboshi Senior high school was established in 1979 and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2008. Our school motto is ''Creation,Friendship, Purity (Clean) ''.

Aboshi High School has a sister school in Perth of Australia, which is Woodvale Secondary College. It is a woderful Secondary College and has a good reputation.We 'd like to build a better rerationship between Woodvale Secondary College and Aboshi Senior High School.

Aboshi Senior High School has just one general course. However, we are making an attempt to improve students academic ability. For example, in English or Mathematics, there are two or three classes according to the degree of understanding. (Mon~Fri 1~6th period Except Monday & Thursday 1~7th period)

Access

2.4km Southwest from ''SANYO Aboshi'' station, SANYO railway''Aboshi Line''. You can take ''SANYO railway'' from Himeji. Please transfer the train at SHIKAMA station. About 20-25minutes at most from Himeji station (JR, SANYO). It takes about 2hours from ''KANSAI airport'' by Limousine Bus.

 
 

 

Additional Information of Himeji and Hyogo

Hyogo Prefecture is located in the west of Japan.

It is close to Osaka and Kyoto. Kobe is a Government ordinance-designated city of Hyogo Prefecture and an international city and has a population of about 1,530,000. Himeji is the second biggest city.

Along the coastline of Himeji, there are lot of factories and those are called the ''Harima Industrial Area''. Most people live in the southern area near the sea where the traffic networks such as railroads,buses,and roads (including Highway) are developed. It is convenient for people in Himeji to commute to the major urban areas of Kobe, Osaka, and Kyoto. In Hanshin Areawe can see mountains, beautiful sea, and many famous shopping areas.

In addition, from Himeji to Kobe (international city), it will take 40 minutes to travel by ''The Inter-City Rapid Train'',which is called ''Shinkaisoku''(Special Rapid Service). You don't have to pay extra charge. It will run at 120-130km/h, about 80miles/h. Also from Himeji to Osaka(which is the 2nd biggest city in Japan) it will take about 60 minutes by that train. From Himeji to Kyoto, 1and half an hour. Of course, if you like, you can take ''Nozomi (which is the fastest bullet train called ''SHINKANSEN''). It will run at 300km/h, about 190 miles and you can take a lot of ''HIKARI''. So, Himeji is not a big city but a very convenient city, and also it's easy to live in, and it has many things to see, such as Himeji castle which is ''The World Heritage'', Shosya Temple (which is very historical temple, there is a cable railway, and you can ride it in order to go to Shosya Temple. From the top of the mountain you can see the beautiful scenary. In 2003, Tom Cruise took the film, ''Last Samurai''featuring Ken Watanabe in the temple.) ,and so on. When you come to Hyogo, you can have one of the most famous beefs, ''KOBE BEEF''and sea food,such as oysters, a lot of kinds of fishes. In winter you can enjoy skiing in the Northern areas of this prefecture. Most of natural forests are preserved in the north areas.
