今年度より普通科の選択授業で農業科目「農業と環境」が開講されています。農業に関心のある普通科の生徒が受講をしています。

野菜のプランター栽培、花苗の管理などを行う予定です。また、森と食科の学びを生かした木工体験も計画しています。

今回は野菜の播種を行いました。

楽しそうに受講してくれています。

　４月17日（水）の３，４限にみかしほ学園の先生を講師にお招きし、２年生の農産・食品類型の生徒が製菓実習を行いました。講師は、姫路の有名洋菓子店で長年製菓長をされていた佐伯先生です。

　今回は、「山高街の駅」などでの販売実習に向けて、クッキーの基本について学びました。

　「ココアアイスボックスクッキー」と「ブールドネージュ」を作りました。

　バターは他の物と合わせた時にダマにならないよう同じ柔らかさになるまでこねること、卵黄は乾燥しやすいので使う直前までラップをしておくことや薄力粉と強力粉の違いなど、プロならではの知識を教えていただき、大変勉強になりました。

　今年度もみかしほ学園の先生方にお世話になります。よろしくお願いいたします。

　今年度も揖保乃糸プロジェクトで取り組んだ生徒考案のメニューが、揖保乃糸資料館そうめんの里内の「レストラン庵」で、2月20日（火）から３月24日（日）まで提供されます。

　農産・食品類型３年生が「食文化」の授業で考案しました。今年度のテーマは、「温かいそうめん料理レシピ」、「手延べラーメン料理レシピ」で、夏休み中に生徒一人一人がメニューを考えました。９月～10月に授業の中で試行錯誤しながら思い思いのメニューを作り完成させました。

　そして全員で応募した中の２作品が選ばれました。

   On Tuesday, January 23rd, the 3rd grade students of the Forestry and Food Research Department gave presentations on their research projects.

   In his address, the principal said, “Please make sure that your presentations are the culmination of your three years of study, and that they are good enough to be passed down to the next generation of students. In addition, please ensure that the presentation by the first-year students of the Forest and Food Research course is the best of your work to pass on to the younger students”

   The head of the grade then said, “We are looking forward to seeing the presentation that combines forestry and food. Please do your best delivering the results of the preparations you've made for today's presentation.”

   The students spent about a year conducting research on topics set by each group. The have worked on a variety of projects over the past year, such as “Making food using local vegetables'', “Making wooden benches to show the appeal of wood”, “Natural woodwork and easy camp meals,” and “Delivering Natures local Blessing project!”. The students motivations and purpose for taking on this challenge

   They wanted everyone from children to elderly to use the knowledge and experience they have learned. They wanted to convey the appeal of wood and food education and help children learn the importance of agriculture and food processing.

   After their presentations, all groups were able to answer questions from the teachers adding their own ideas. The presentations were also a great opportunity for the students to demonstrate the culmination of their three years of study as first-year students in the Department of Forestry and Science Research through their research projects. They were able to share what they have learned with the first and second-year students who attended.

   After which the farm manager commented, “The various ways in which the groups presented their research were excellent, and may they continue to work on their research projects and building and growing in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science and the Department of Lifestyle Creation up until last year.”

農水産を学ぶ県下の高校が月ごとに、県庁にて緑化活動として緑化作品の展示を行っています。

山崎高校森と食科は８月に作品を展示しました。その感謝状贈呈式が２月５日（月）に県庁で行われました。

贈呈式では教育長から感謝の言葉をいただくとともに、感謝状を贈呈していただきました。

また、各校の作品をスライドショーで紹介してくださり、励みになりました。

今後も学習の成果を発揮できるように頑張りたいです。
